4-Day The Famous Savuti Safari
Overview
The legendary Savuti region lies within the southern part of Chobe National Park, where the Chobe River dramatically fades into the Savuti Marsh. By the time the river reaches Savuti, much of its water has evaporated or been absorbed into the deep Kalahari sands. The mysterious Savuti Channel is known for its unpredictable flow, controlled by underground tectonic activity. Flooding cycles can take decades — sometimes up to 30 years.

Day 1: Arrival in Kasane
Afternoon pick-up from Kasane Airport or designated point Transfer to your lodge in Kasane Safari briefing and final trip preparations Optional boat cruise or fishing in chobe river and sunset stop by the river. Dinner will be provided. Overnight in Kasane.

Day 2: Kasane – Savuti
Early morning breakfast Transfer by 4x4 safari vehicle into the Savuti region Scenic drive through diverse Chobe landscapes Afternoon game drive upon arrival in Savuti Overnight in Savuti (tented camp). Accommodation: tent size 3x3m (shared), each tent has a private veranda, proper bed inside, bush toilet, bush shower and sink, our staff take care of camp chores.

Day 3: Khwai
Morning game drive, afternoon game drives and evening game drives. Story telling around campfire. Overnight camping in Khwai. Accommodation: tent size 3x3m(shared), each tent has a private veranda, proper beds inside, bush toilet, bush shower and sink, our staff take care of camp chores.

Early morning game drive en route to Maun, drop off at Maun International airport.

Early morning game drive en route back toward Kasane Transfer back to Kasane Drop-off at Travel Lodge or Kasane Airport Safari ends in Kasane.
