Overview
The Central Kalahari Game Reserve (CKGR) is one of Botswana’s most untouched and remote wilderness areas. Upon arrival, the landscape may appear semi-arid, with vast open plains and grasses that seem dry and lifeless. Makgadikgadi Pans National Park provides a striking contrast to the Kalahari. This area is known for its palatable grasses and seasonal water sources. Each year, during the rainy season, Makgadikgadi hosts one of Africa’s largest zebra migrations.

Day 1: Arrival in Maun
Afternoon Pick-up and have lunch at the lodge arranged by the tour operator Safari preparations and trip briefing. On the afternoon transfer to Central Kalahari Game Reserve. Accommodation: tent size 3x3m(shared), each tent has a private veranda, proper beds inside, bush toilet, bush shower and sink, our staff take care of camp chores.

Day 2 to 3: Central Kalahari Game Reserve
Morning and afternoon game drives in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve Sunset Stop over. Optional: Cultural Tour Evening: story telling around fire Overnight: Camping in Central Kalahari Game Reserve. Accommodation: tent size 3x3m(shared), each tent has a private veranda, proper beds inside, bush toilet, bush shower and sink, our staff take care of camp chores.

Day 4: Central Kalahari Game Reserve – Makgadikgadi Pans National Park
Morning en-route Drive to Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. Afternoon game drive. Sunset stopover. Overnight: Camping in Central Kalahari Game Reserve. Morning game drive. After breakfast drive back to Maun and drop off at Maun Airport. Safari ends.
