Please Note: On Day 1, your guide will meet you at your arrival location and assist you with purchasing beverages (alcoholic and soft drinks) for the safari. Guests are required to spend a pre-night at the arrival location (e.g., Maun or Kasane) the day before the safari begins. A full safari briefing will be provided the following morning.

Itinerary
Day 1: Khama Rhino Sanctuary (Camping)
Home to both white and black rhinos, this sanctuary plays a key role in rhino conservation in Botswana. Enjoy a game drive in the sanctuary.
Day 2: Makgadikgadi National Park (Camping)
We depart early for the Makgadikgadi salt pans. The afternoon will be spent exploring this unique landscape.
Days 3–6: Central Kalahari Game Reserve (Camping)
Continue into the CKGR, one of Botswana’s largest and wildest reserves. We'll explore Deception Valley and Passarge Valley—prime areas for cheetah sightings. Four nights will be spent across two campsites.
Day 7: Maun (Lodge Accommodation)
Upon arrival in Maun, your guide will assist you with restocking beverages. In the afternoon, guests may opt for a 45-minute scenic flight over the Delta.$23 4 ,per person,mininum 3 pax.Non-flyers can relax at the lodge.
Note: Dinner is at your own expense.
Days 8–10: Okavango Delta (Camping)
We journey into the Delta to meet our polers, who will transport us by mokoro (dugout canoe) to a remote island. Enjoy mokoro excursions and guided nature walks.
Important: Only essentials for two days should be packed. Larger luggage will be locked and stored in the trailer.
Days 10–13: Moremi Game Reserve (Camping)
Explore this exceptional reserve with its mix of swamps, channels, and dry plains. Covering 5,000 km², our stay is split between two campsites. Daily game drives are included.
Days 13–15: Chobe National Park (Camping)
Botswana’s first national park is renowned for its elephants and varied terrain, including the Mababe Depression, Savuti Marsh, Linyanti, and Chobe Riverfront. Activities include game drives and a boat cruise.
Day 16: Kasane – Safari Ends
We drive through the park to Kasane village. Guests will be transferred to their next destination or lodge.
Pioneer Safari offers free transfers to Kasane Airport or the Kazungula Border (Zimbabwe, Namibia, Zambia).
